My Journey

No matter what happens, you can
make a solid future for yourself.

Today, I'm fortunate enough to live the life I've always dreamed of.  But it hasn't always been that way, like many people, I've been in terrible situations :

I've been Homeless and Living In just a single One Room

I’ve been addicted to drugs and alcohol which led to me being sectioned and going to rehab.

I've also been Massively Overweight And Unhealthy.  Which of course made me feel very unhappy with myself.

And then I decided that enough was enough and Took Over The Business, which in turn Took Off once I had my focus again.

Which enabled me to buy a house, and begin my investing journey

But then, because of a lack of focus, ended up getting divorced
and becoming depressed.

Which lead to my health deteriorating yet again, and my weight
ballooning to 23 stone

Again, I decided enough was enough and made a focus to get back on track, get my health back to great condition, and get the business back on track.

Look - the only person that can help you is you, and sometimes you need some support along that journey too.

And that's why I'm here.

To help you get what you need out of life too.

With a dad who was heavily involved in organised crime, my life didn’t have the simplest of starts.

Being exposed to drugs, violence, and trouble with the authorities from the get-go meant I was programmed into seeing this lifestyle as the norm and constantly seeking validation from a man who wasn’t capable of loving me.

My mum and I were made homeless when I was three and the seven years following this involved moving frequently, predominantly from hostel to hostel – 11 times to be exact. Little did we know, this was just the beginning of the disruption to my childhood, as I had been suffering from regular uncontrolled seizures, which led to me being diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 10 and being told I was at risk of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). A few short years later, I was also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and bone tumours in my ankles, which later had to be removed, and I underwent operations to fuse my ankles to my shins.

Unfortunately, the effects of my early life and ongoing turbulent relationship with my dad had on my mental and emotional wellbeing became apparent when I found myself on the wrong side of the law at the age of 13. I was using Class A substances and was arrested for GBH and ABH. Ironically, it was my epilepsy that saved me from serving time in prison.

At the tender age of 16, my ex-girlfriend fell pregnant. Despite being so young, I was overcome with joy at being given the opportunity to become a dad and make a positive impact in my own life and, more importantly, my child’s. However, this wasn’t to be the case as my ex secretly underwent a private termination of the pregnancy which left me feeling devastated and completely helpless.

Unquestionably due to my own struggles, this was the start of me finding myself being drawn towards helping others and I began a career as a support worker but, much to my frustration, I found myself unable to provide the help I wanted to give these individuals due to the restrictions within the system. It also proved to be too triggering for me at this time and I was unable to cope with the emotional strains that came with the job.

I reverted to my old ways of crime and became highly addicted to multiple Class A drugs, which led to me reaching the fatal point of overdosing, where my heart stopped. I was deemed as a risk to myself, sectioned three weeks later and, upon release, sent to rehab. After experiencing such a huge wake-up call, I turned to health and fitness and lost 8 stone in 12 months.

Despite taking such extreme measures to turn my life around, I was still yet to experience some of my biggest lows. Whilst working long and strenuous hours as a bailiff, my health drastically deteriorated, and I reached a state of complete burnout. I could no longer perform my work duties and was made homeless in 2017. It was at this point I made the decision that my illnesses and past couldn’t continue to control my life, nor the lives of my loved ones.

I returned to work for the debt recovery business, this time taking on a desk-based role where I formed strong client relationships, and my knowledge of the business quickly became indispensable. I then created an opportunity to buy the company using none of my own money and, in the space of only 9 months, I took over the company. I built an infrastructure, created solid processes and a culture which saw the business thrive, so much so that the turnover quadrupled in 6 months. 2 years later, I was able to make myself redundant and take on a passive role. At age 26, this was the first time I had taken control of my life and created a sense of security, which I had never previously felt.

I developed an interest in property and built my first business in this sector, Just Relocate Ltd. In its first 12 months, I secured 23 short-term rental units and sourced 20 deals.

As I knew all too well, life has a way of throwing curveballs and 2021 proved to be one of my toughest years yet. I went through a divorce and was forced to leave my family home where my three children resided, with nothing but the clothes on my back. I was utterly defeated as I’d found myself in a position, yet again, where I had no home and had to turn to family for help with money and felt like I was starting from scratch. This had an unbearable effect on my mental health and my body weight piled back on again. I was depressed, lonely and felt like just throwing the towel in.

But, if there’s one thing, I’d learned about myself, it was that I don’t give up and there’s only one way to go when you’ve reached rock bottom… And that’s to the Next Level! I felt my calling again, as I’d previously done so with the support work, to help others who have experienced hardship but this time I wanted to create an environment where I felt free to talk and provide support without limits and so I started the Next Level Podcast. I created a platform on which I can share my story with complete openness and honesty which, in turn, has allowed my guests to be vulnerable and feel heard without the time restraints or judgement they may have previously experienced. Through the podcast, I have had the privilege of sharing some incredible life stories and forming invaluable friendships along the way. Furthermore, it has led to opportunities within the property sector where I haven successfully acquired 11 properties in the last 24 months (with a GDV > £2.2m), using none of my own money, and raised £911K.

My experiences in life and business have led to a significant amount of people reaching out to me for guidance and support on areas such as health & fitness, mindset, property, and business. I feel privileged to be in a position where I can offer these services and take great pleasure in seeing such remarkable transformations.Unquestionably due to my own struggles, this was the start of me finding myself being drawn towards helping others and I began a career as a support worker but, much to my frustration, I found myself unable to provide the help I wanted to give these individuals due to the restrictions within the system.
